Sheffield South East Trust has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, caring and proactive Personal Care Support Worker.  You will be based at Phillimore Community Primary School, supporting a child in our nursery class.  

We are looking for someone to develop a strong and trusting relationship with a child who will you support on a one-to-one basis.  


The successful candidate will have excellent listening and communication skills, along with good literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills.  You will support the child with their learning and medical needs.  Experience in working within an educational setting is desired but not necessary.   
Duties to support will include:-

  • Check Ileostomy Bag on arrival.
  • Clean Intermittent Catheterisation & Check/ empty Ileostomy Bag.
  • Dinner time- close observation and support to feed.
  • Medication administration & Check Ileostomy Bag.
  • Clean Intermittent Catheterisation & Check/ empty Ileostomy Bag.
