We wish to recruit Exam Invigilators:

Invigilators are responsible for ensuring that examinations held in the Academy are conducted efficiently and in accordance with the Awarding Body requirements. Exam Invigilators need to take an active role in the examinations process. 

We are looking to appoint several invigilators to supplement the existing team within the Academy whether that be as a lead, sole or a regular invigilator.  You will work under the direction of the Examinations Manager to provide efficient invigilation and related tasks.
The post involves collection of examination papers and stationery from the Exams Office; ensuring examination rooms are prepared correctly; reading out instructions to candidates; collection and safe return of scripts to the Examinations Office at the end of each exam.  

You will be a motivated, committed and flexible individual that is prepared to embrace the complexity of invigilation in a modern exams environment.  Good levels of numeracy, literacy and IT skills will be needed for the role, an experience of working with and/or supporting young people and have good communication and organisation skills with the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.  Previous experience of exams invigilation or working in an educational environment is not essential as full training will be given.

You must be flexible to work full days, mornings or afternoons during the exams periods in November, December, January, March, May and June and you will be required to attend regular training sessions as necessary.
