Our opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and motivated cleaner to join our premises team to help us ensure that our Academy provides a safe, welcoming and purposeful environment for children, staff and visitors. Yewlands Academy is looking for a practical and well-motivated person for the post of cleaner to join our team of committed staff. We are very proud of our building so we especially want someone who will really care for our Academy, ensuring it looks its best.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to work in partnership with the staff at Yewlands Academy and able to work under instruction as well as having the ability to use their initiative

Reporting to the cleaner in charge you will;

•    ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is delivered throughout the Academy site.
•    have the ability to deal with the changing demands within your team
•    possess good interpersonal skills which enable you to deal effectively with staff and students
