Asbestos Management Policy

We want to keep our tenants, workers, contractors, and people who visit our properties safe. 

Our Asbestos Management Policy explains how we will:

  • manage Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) in council housing
  • keep records of ACMs, and share this information with people who need it
  • continue to manage the risks from ACMs so we can prevent anyone from being accidently exposed to asbestos fibres in our housing and some non-domestic premises which are funded and managed by the Housing Revenue Account

The policy outlines what we’re doing to meet our legal and regulatory duties and minimise any risk to health and safety from asbestos.
