You can order birth, death, marriage and civil partnership certificates from the Register Office. You can only request copies of certificates for registrations that took place in Sheffield.
Fees
Copy Certificates cost £12 (this includes postage costs):
- full birth certificate
- death certificate
- marriage certificate
- full civil partnership certificate
Certificates are posted out in 15 working days.
Once you have filled in a form and requested a certificate, you will be redirected to pay online.
Priority Certificates are £35 each (this includes postage costs within the United Kingdom only). They are produced in 24 working hours. Please allow three days for them to arrive from the time they are produced.
