If you're having financial difficulties

The allowed timescales for payment of penalty charges are stated on the PCN documents. We don't generally allow payment plans. Pay online by credit or debit card

It’s quick, safe and secure to pay a fine online (it takes 24 hours before issued tickets and their details are displayed in the system).

You will need your:

  • ticket reference number
  • credit or debit card
  • your vehicle registration number (VRN)

Pay by phone

Telephone 0114 273 5249 to pay by debit card day or night, 365 days a year. You will need:

  • ticket reference number
  • credit or debit card
  • your vehicle registration number (VRN)

Pay at a post office or Paypoint Outlets

Pay at a Paypoint outlet by cash, or pay at a Post Office by cash, cheque, credit or debit card. You will need the barcode on your Penalty Charge Notice.

Making a payment

If you have appealed your fine, please wait until you receive a reply from us before making payment. The fine will be kept on hold whilst we consider your case. If you pay, the case will be closed and you will not be able to appeal further.
