Frecheville Library
Frecheville Library is a community library run entirely by volunteers. Opening times and facility information can be found via their website.
Gleadless Library
Gleadless library is an Associate Library. This means that it is run independently by volunteers, supported for now by a grant from Sheffield Council. You can still use your own library card to borrow books, CDs and DVDs, reserve books from any library for you to collect here, and use the People's Network computers for free. Greenhill Library
We are a volunteer-run community library operating as an associate library of Sheffield City Council. We offer the same services as the council-run libraries and you can use your normal library tickets to borrow our books. We also offer “The People’s Network” of computers free of charge, and run an active programme of community events.

Stannington Library
STAND (Stannington & District Library Group) was formed in 2013 after 2 public meetings that explored the issues raised by Sheffield City Council's announced withdrawal of formal support for Stannington Library. Since then, the group has been formalised, a committee was formed and teams of volunteers were recruited.

Tinsley Library
The lease on the Tinsley Library building has now come to an end and services are no longer being delivered from the Bawtry Road shopping parade.
Temporary arrangements are being made for library users, before we find a new base for a voluntary-run service.
Alternative services
Our closest library is Darnall Library. If you have difficulty using another library please try our Home Library Service.
A book drop off and pick up facility will be available at Tinsley Forum on Bawtry Road.
Additional visits will be made by the Little Library service for children.
Enjoy free eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines from the eLibrary.
Rotherham Borough Council also has a library at Brinsworth that welcomes new members from Tinsley.
Totley Library
Totley Library is run by Totley CRIC, a non-profit volunteer run organisation formed to take over the library following council plans to close it. The library is currently staffed and managed by a team of over 120 volunteers.
Upperthorpe Library
Upperthorpe Library is now an associate Library operated by Zest - it is based in the Zest Centre.
Walkley Library
Walkley Carnegie Library is now an Associate library. This means that it is supported by a grant and run independently by volunteers.
