You must pay your Council Tax on or before the due date shown on your bill. If we do not receive your Council Tax payment by the due date we will take recovery action.
If you fall behind with your Council Tax payments, we will send you up to 2 reminder notices by post.
We may contact you by text, email or voicemail, to remind you that your payment is overdue before sending you a reminder through the post, if we have your details.
A third missed Council Tax payment triggers a final notice, which could mean you lose the right to pay by monthly instalments and a demand to pay all the year’s Council Tax immediately. Non-payment then can lead to court action.
