If you live in Sheffield, are aged 15 to 19 and have left school or college but are currently not in a form of Education, Employment or Training (NEET), we can help you plan your future.
Telling us about your education, employment or training status
We need to know your current status – even if you're not currently in education, employment or training. This will help us support you if you tell us that you would like help.
Notifying us means we can start to work towards what you want to achieve through work, education or training.
Under the Education and Skills Act 2008, every Local Authority needs to promote the participation of all 16 and 17 year olds in education or training. Telling us about your statement also helps us with the tracking system we have to use to identify young people who aren't participating, which is information we regularly report to the Government.
