Drugs and alcohol support

Sheffield Drugs and Alcohol Co-ordination Team (DACT) is funded by Public Health and is part of Commissioning in the People Portfolio.

We work with partners to reduce the number of people misusing drugs in Sheffield, provide safe and appropriate treatment for those misusing drugs, and reducing the harms from drug misuse. We work with Partners to reduce alcohol-related harm, including levels of alcohol-related crime and antisocial behaviour and to implement the Sheffield Alcohol Strategy which prioritises early intervention, screening, reducing alcohol-related harm and disorder, and ensuring there is a suitable treatment pathway available for those in need of support.
