The Chief Executive of Sheffield City Council has described the £1.5 billion being awarded to South Yorkshire as part of the Government’s £15 billion for transport projects as “game changing”.
Sheffield is set to see two brand-new, state-of-the-art leisure facilities as part of the city’s commitment to supporting residents in being more active and living healthier lifestyles.
‘Hear Our Voice’ is making significant progress on plans that support all adults with a learning disability in Sheffield, including people who have additional support needs because of a physical disability, sensory impairment or autism.
Several locations across Sheffield are set to see new or improved crossings as part of the Council’s plans to improve pedestrian access while, at the same time, aiming to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured.
