With festival goers finalising their plans for who they want to see and when during this weekend’s Tramlines, TravelMaster have announced a ticket offer giving people discount travel on public transport across the city during the two-days of events.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to descend on Hillsborough Park to watch bands including Sheffield’s own Pulp, Kasabian and Reytons. There is also The Fringe at Tramlines, which takes place across the city centre. As well as the free Fringe Stage at Devonshire Green, hosted by Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Bid, more than 40 of the city’s bars, pubs, clubs, and restaurants will also host their own celebrations.
Like with any festival, getting around can be a problem but TravelMaster have come up with a solution to help you make sure you don’t miss that all important gig.
They are offering two 1-day CityWide tickets for £10 which would allow the ticket holder two full days of travel on the Sheffield bus and tram network. Available from Thursday, 24th July until Saturday 26th July, the tickets would normally cost £6.70 per day.
Tramlines is a fantastic weekend with thousands of people helping to make Sheffield bounce. It’s a wonderful addition to the city with the main stage in Hillsborough Park and The Fringe at Tramlines taking over the city centre.
Making sure you can see the band you’ve been itching to see for ages is crucial and this fantastic offer from TravelMaster will allow people to do just that. Whether you’re in and around the city centre or further afield, having two days of travel into and out of the venues will allow people to fully focus on the gig and having the best time possible.

TravelMaster is proud to support local events in South Yorkshire and help local people to access these. Special ticket offers provide not just great value for money but help to make the events more sustainable. Tramlines Fringe is a huge draw for the city centre and fantastic for local businesses, something else which TravelMaster supports via our #ExploreSY campaigns.
By choosing to travel by public transport you don't need to worry about parking and can spend your journey planning on what you are going to see. By offering a 2-day ticket we hope that more people will return. If you don't have tickets to the whole Tramlines Festival, then you can access the Fringe events or just a day out in Sheffield.
Alternatively, if you are only going to the Fringe then you have further opportunities to find your next favourite band.
