Residents across Sheffield will be invited to have their say on the latest proposals for the Local Plan.

Progress has been made to identify possible sites for additional housing and employment as part of Sheffield’s ambitious Local Plan.

Sheffield residents who are not in work and not currently actively seeking employment are set to benefit from a £3m fund aimed at supporting them to join, or rejoin, the workforce.

Amendments to the Draft Local Plan in response to public consultation will be referred to Full Council for consideration after they were endorsed by the Strategy & Resources Committee today.

Sheffield City Council has secured grants from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund which will go towards community, culture and local economy projects.
