Twelve Sheffield schools, early years providers and colleges will receive grant funding from Sheffield City Council’s major new initiative—Built for Change—to help them respond to the growing impacts of climate change.
A new and evolving approach to dog walking in Sheffield’s parks, woodlands and countryside spaces has been proposed. It aims to help ensure the city’s most cherished areas are protected, more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
A proposal has been put forward to make changes to the city’s recycling services. Plans include replacing the current 140-litre blue recycling bin with a larger 240-litre version, and to expand the range of materials accepted in the brown bin.
