A proactive review of the way council houses are allocated to those who need them is taking place – and now the people of Sheffield are being asked to give their views on how that should be done.
A brand new approach to housing those who most need short-term support has been approved – which will also help tackle the spiralling costs associated with temporary accommodation.
Sheffield residents who are not in work and not currently actively seeking employment are set to benefit from a £3m fund aimed at supporting them to join, or rejoin, the workforce.
