The city now has a 10-year plan to create a fairer and healthier Sheffield.

An innovative city. A green city. A brilliant place to live, work and invest. That is the message coming from Sheffield leaders as a delegation from the city heads to the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREIFF).

Sheffield has stepped into a summer of events after a spring of celebrations. From football to Eurovision via gigs and food festivals, the city has had an incredibly busy month of events, with more to come during the summer.

More than 15 million people visited Sheffield in 2022, bringing an estimated £1.35billion boost to the city’s economy.

Celebrating the wonder of trees and woodlands will take place again this year, with the Sheffield Tree Fayre, in Sheffield Botanical Gardens.

Sheffield’s city brand is to be given a boost with the aim of supporting economic growth by attracting more tourists and trade to the city.
