To celebrate some of the city’s greatest achievers, Sheffield City Council is proposing to relaunch the Sheffield Legends – the city’s walk of fame honouring individuals who have achieved national or international acclaim.
Sheffield City Council is launching the Lord Mayor Awards, recognising the amazing contribution of people and organisations that are at the heart of Sheffield.
Sheffield and Pittsburgh in the USA have been Sister Cities since 1980. This week a delegation from Sheffield will head to Pittsburgh to strengthen ties, share knowledge and explore future collaboration.
Richard Caborn has today been recognised for dedicating his life to Sheffield and its people, being awarded the city’s highest honour, Freedom of the City.
