Expertise has been brought in to explore how Sheffield’s Grade II listed Graves Gallery and Central Library building can best be used for public cultural activities in the future.
Sheffield Council’s new administration has been formally announced today, with a collaboration between Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.
The Council will discuss the proposed approach to the Community Buildings Policy on Wednesday March 12th. The report outlines how the Council, if approved, would introduce an interim policy for a year to enable progress on a number of Community Asset Transfers that have already been requested.

It was with deep sadness that we learnt of the death of Sheffield City Council’s former Chief Executive, Robert Kerslake, Baron Kerslake of Endcliffe. Following a brief illness he passed away on Saturday 1 July 2023 aged 68.
