Whether or not a city centre Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) will be introduced by Sheffield City Council will soon be decided at the Council’s Communities, Parks, and Leisure Committee.
The Palestinian flag is to be flown over Sheffield Town Hall on Friday 29th November, the United Nations International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, following consideration of a public request received earlier this month.
A Declaration of Friendship has been signed between the City of Sheffield and the City of Nablus on the West Bank in Palestine, at a virtual ceremony today (Tuesday 29 October 2024).
