Sheffield has once again won a national award for the City Centre Evening & Night-Time Economy that recognises it as a safe and enjoyable place to go for a night out. An award it has held and renewed on an annual basis since 2012.
Today the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Sioned-Mair Richards, has confirmed that an Extraordinary Meeting will be held to discuss the implications of the street tree inquiry in a first-person piece.

From Tuesday 20 August some bin collections in Sheffield will be affected by a Veolia refuse collectors strike. Residents are asked to put their bins out before 7am on their scheduled collection day and leave them out until they are collected.
