The first curator and designer of the historic Sheffield Botanical Gardens is to be commemorated with the installation of a blue plaque that celebrates his work and achievements.
A new park café has opened this week, in a refurbished old public toilet and bus shelter in the beautiful grounds of Whirlow Brook Park, a popular beauty spot for walkers, local people and families.
Funds are being raised by the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) to renovate The Mi Amigo memorial in Endcliffe Park in time for its 80th anniversary service in 2024.
Work will be starting in the next few days to refurbish the old Curators House Team Rooms within the Botanical Gardens. Following a recent tender process Sheffield City Council are really excited to announce that Joni will be opening their new site this Summer after a short period of refurbishment which starts in March.
