The refurbishment of the Woodbourn Road football site in Darnall has started as part of a project led by the Premier League, The Football Association and Government’s Football Foundation in partnership with Sheffield City Council.
It’s a building that, for nearly 200 years, has attracted worshipers, shopper and excited children eager to see the latest must have toy, but now Bethal Chapel is set for a new lease of life looking towards the future.
The next steps for the regeneration of Fargate and surrounding areas were discussed and approved at the Transport, Regeneration and Climate Policy Committee yesterday.
Work will be starting in the next few days to refurbish the old Curators House Team Rooms within the Botanical Gardens. Following a recent tender process Sheffield City Council are really excited to announce that Joni will be opening their new site this Summer after a short period of refurbishment which starts in March.
