An initiative aiming to support Sheffield’s nighttime economy and keep residents and visitors safe when out in the city centre, has been extended into the Spring.
More people in Sheffield who need support are living independently and well at home because of work between health and care services to prevent readmission to hospital.
Many more privately owned or privately rented Sheffield households can benefit from a warm home that can be cheaper to run, following a change to eligibility rules for the Home Upgrade Grant.
A total of £400,000 of funding, split over five years, has been committed to the Compassionate Sheffield Programme, to help support the local community with their experiences of death and bereavement.
