Families in Sheffield are amongst thousands across England that will be offered help and support with issues such as infant feeding, mental health and relationship building thanks to Family Hubs being rolled out in local communities.
The Department for Education (DfE) has announced that Sheffield City Council will be one of 16 local authorities that will help to design a process to expand wraparound childcare for primary schools. Wraparound care includes breakfast clubs, after school clubs and other school services that can help care for children outside of normal school hours from 8am to 6pm.
The Sheffield College’s Peaks Campus has now reached the second phase of its Post-16 SEND Hub which focuses on employment, independence and participation.
Six more schools in Sheffield are celebrating the news that they have been selected to be part of the Department for Education’s £1bn school rebuilding programme, taking the number of Sheffield schools to benefit to seven.
