World Seniors Snooker, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Theatres are delighted to announce a new deal, which will see the World Seniors Snooker Championship remain at the Crucible Theatre until at least 2027.
Following assessments by both Tramlines and Sheffield City Council groundwork teams, work has begun to restore Hillsborough Park back to its usual high quality.
Sheffield could play host to more major events and events that have a greater impact on the city and its residents, if plans are approved to develop a new city-wide events strategy.
Snooker fans in Sheffield will have the chance to see their heroes walking to the Crucible, through Tudor Square on a special green carpet on the eve of the Halo World Championship next week.
