Voters to go to the polls in Stocksbridge and Upper Don by-election

Voters in Stocksbridge and Upper Don are to head to the polls on Thursday 26 June to fill the vacant seat on Sheffield City Council.

Voters in Stocksbridge and Upper Don are to head to the polls on Thursday 26 June to fill the vacant seat on Sheffield City Council.

It comes after Julie Grocutt, the former Councillor for Stocksbridge and Upper Don, resigned from her seat earlier this month. As a result of her resignation, a by-election has now been triggered and will be held in the ward on Thursday 26 June. 

Further details of the candidates standing in the by-election will be announced on Monday 2 June 2025.
