Shoppers hunting for the next must-have fashion item will have another destination to add to their quest when Damaged Society opens in our Heart of the City development.

Since 2012, Damaged Society has been reshaping alternative fashion across the UK, and now the brand is bringing its signature edgy style to Sheffield.

Housed within the same walls that produced music legends like Def Leppard, ABC, Human League, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Bring Me The Horizon, While She Sleeps, and the iconic Resistanz Festival, Damaged Society is proud to become part of the city’s rich creative and musical history.

Sheffield locals can expect a curated mix of homegrown, exclusive fashion from the brand’s house labels, Damaged Society and Damn Tragic, alongside fan-favourite alternative brands. In addition, the store offers an extensive collection of music and pop-culture merchandise, including items from Alice In Chains, Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, Linkin Park, Sleep Token, Type O Negative, as well as horror tees, anime merch, and more.

The new shop will be located on the corner of Pinstone Street and Charles Street and will offer a mixture of fashion items for both men and women.

Since officially launching in 2020, Sheffield City Council’s Heart of the City project has proved incredibly popular with businesses and visitors alike. Over the past five years a whole host of retail options have been opened from men’s and women’s fashion to book shops, tea merchants and homeware. Restaurants and cafes along with other food and beverage outlets have also started welcoming customers in along with a massive range of high-quality office space and residential apartments.

It’s fantastic to welcome another new brand to Sheffield, attracted to the city thanks to our wonderful Heart of the City development. The project was always aimed at offering something for everyone and of the highest possible quality, the inclusion of Damaged Society just adds to those brands who already call the development home.

Cllr Ben Miskell, Chair of the Transport, Regeneration and Climate Policy Committee at Sheffield City Council

Our goal has always been to push the boundaries of alternative fashion. Sheffield has a legendary creative spirit, and we can’t wait to share our take on edgy, head-to-toe style with the city.

Mark Eley, from Damaged Society

Over the last few weeks and months, we have announced several new shops and cafes opening or due to open in the Heart of the City. It proves that businesses are recognising the fantastic offer the development has and the ability of the project to cater for a whole host of different types, from retail, food and beverage to office-based companies and residents. And we’re not finished yet; we have even more to announce in the coming weeks and months as we continue to transform the city centre into a place we can all the proud of.
