A support group for adults (18+) who want help with addiction, whether it's to drugs, alcohol or certain behaviours. The program focuses on four key areas: staying motivated, handling cravings, managing thoughts and feelings and creating a healthy, balanced life.

Project 6 Sheffield

A local charity supporting people with drug and alcohol issues and complex needs. Run by people in recovery, the Alcohol Recovery Community (ARC) focuses on building self-worth, confidence and wellbeing. The service offers daily peer-led groups for adults looking to change their lives.

Northern Gambling Service

This service offers specialist support for people in Sheffield affected by gambling addiction and related mental health issues like anxiety, depression and trauma. They also help loved ones impacted by someone’s gambling.  

Support includes therapy, addiction treatment, family support and peer groups, with appointments available in person or online.

Disability Sheffield provides free, independent advocacy for disabled people. They can help if:

  • you want support with a care needs assessment
  • you’re unhappy with a service or decision and want to challenge it
  • you need help understanding your rights or options
  • you want to take part in meetings about your care or future
  • you’re planning a big change like moving home or getting more support

Advocates work alongside you to make sure your voice is heard.
