More about Street Outreach Team
Report rough sleeping
If you’re sleeping rough or know someone that is you can make an alert through StreetLink. Your alert will be sent to the local outreach team, who will do their best to find you based on the location you provide.
Outreach workers will aim to visit as soon as possible but if you’re in immediate danger or need urgent support, contact the emergency services.
Help for rough sleepers during severe weather
During periods of extreme cold or severe weather, we provide emergency overnight accommodation for anyone facing the prospect of sleeping rough. This includes access to crash pads and hostel spaces to ensure people stay safe and warm.
Anyone who uses this service will be connected to our Rough Sleeper Service for continued support and help to find long-term housing solutions.
Donations
Local charities and partner organisations provide essential support for people sleeping rough, and they depend on generous public donations to continue their work. Items such as non-perishable food, warm clothing, sleeping bags and hygiene essentials are especially needed.
To find out what’s currently in demand and where you can donate, please contact our partner charities and support services.
