Each year we send an Electoral Registration form to all households in the city to check the details we hold on the Electoral Register are correct.
In 2013 the forms will be sent out in early October and the new register will be published on 17 February 2014.
You must confirm your details to be registered to vote. If any of the details we hold are incorrect, you will need to amend them on the form and send this back to us.
Please note it is a legal requirement that you respond to this form.
Children who are 16 or 17 may be listed on the form. They will be included on the Electoral Register but are not eligible to vote until they are 18. Please check that their date of birth on the form is correct.
To register at any other time of year, for example, if you move house or are new to Sheffield, you will need to download and return the application form below or contact us and we will provide you with a form.
If you live at 2 addresses or are a student studying in a different city you can register in both places. You can only vote once in a parliamentary election but in local elections you can vote in both places, providing they are different areas.
