Retail planning policy for the Sheffield area is informed by the Sheffield Retail Study by Cushman & Wakefield, March 2010 and the update report by GVA, July 2012.
The 2010 Cushman & Wakefield report assesses the need for new shopping floorspace in the city and provides evidence for the Sheffield Development Framework City Policies and Sites document.
The 2012 GVA report updates the 2010 report, specifically in relation to the homeware retail sector, and considers the relationship between Sheffield City Centre and Meadowhall.
