The focus of the role would be to carry out home visits to ascertain why children are not in school and to work with the child and the family to improve their attendance. Pastoral Support Officer
Grade 5 (SCP 9-11) – £18,192 to £18,927
37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days

This was recognised by Ofsted in February 2019, when the academy was judged ‘Good with Outstanding Leadership’. Inspectors noted that, “Leaders and teachers demonstrate high expectations for all pupils. They are determined that pupils achieve well in their subjects”.
