Due to the recent retirement of long-established staff, the Governing Body of Halfway Junior School is looking to appoint two confident, flexible and energetic Teaching Assistants to join our enthusiastic and talented team as soon as possible. The successful applicants will be highly motivated professionals, dedicated to providing a high level of teaching support across school, working in partnership with classroom teachers, as well as running specific interventions when appropriate.

Halfway Junior School is a two-form entry Junior School located at the heart of our community in the south of Sheffield. We have high expectations for all our children and are committed to ensuring they are not only ready for the next step in their education, but also able to positively contribute to their communities. We want our pupils to be confident in their own abilities and resilient when faced with challenges. We want them to understand they are unique and special. But most importantly, we want them to be happy – empowered to be the best that they can be.
