Royd Nursery Infant School is situated in the largely residential area of Deepcar, Sheffield.  We are looking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant Level 1.  This position is temporary until March 31 2024 with the view of continuing until the end of the academic year 2023-2024 should further funding be received.

The Governors seek to appoint candidates that are good/outstanding practitioners.

The successful candidate will be:
•    An outstanding teaching assistant with experience of working within a school setting with children aged between 4 -7
•    Experience of working with pupils with a wide range of learning needs
•    Be committed to raising standards
•    Experience of supporting both individuals and groups of learners
•    Committed  to developing the best education for all pupils
•    Work in a whole school team and alongside other external professionals
•    Able to build up excellent relationships with parent/carers
•    Be a positive individual who can adapt to changing circumstances
•    Be conscientious and hardworking
