Cascade Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an organised, hardworking and flexible Assistant Cook to join the Catering Team at Whiteways Primary School. We are looking for someone with initiative, who takes pride in their work, is able to work with or without supervision and a key member of our friendly, caring team.

We are looking for candidates that can: 

The successful candidate will be able to: 
•    Prepare, cook and serve food following agreed menus/recipes that adhere to School Food Standards
•    Accommodate children with special dietary requirements, a working knowledge of allergen management
•    Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, including equipment and surrounding areas
•    Comply with all food hygiene/health and safety standards and regulations
•    Support for maintaining and ordering stock and ensuring appropriate storage and labelling procedures are followed
•    In the absence of the Cook, supervise the catering team to ensure food preparation and lunchtime service runs smoothly
