A water pipe has burst on Moonshine Lane earlier this week, causing localised flooding to a small number of properties. Moonshine Lane remains closed.
Yorkshire Water are visiting all customers in the Southey area, including those in council housing, to investigate any water damage to their property or belongings and carry out gas and electricity safety checks.
They are also handing out claims forms and supporting customers with the claims process where needed.
