Covid-19 (Coronavirus) disruption to Adult Learning Courses
We want you to know that the health and wellbeing of all our learners, partners and staff is our top priority. Since the 23 March 2020 we have had to stop all of our classroom delivery and this is likely to continue for some time.
This means that our current delivery for this term is disrupted and not being delivered in the way we normally do. However, we are working hard to ensure that support and continuation of learning can remain in place using a more creative approach.
For the last 2 weeks our partners and tutors have been contacting our existing learners to support their learning and check on their wellbeing wherever possible. We are making plans to continue this into the next term and tutors will continue to remain in touch. We intend to deliver learning online and on a one to one basis where possible over the phone.
If you need information or advice please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing Faces@sheffield.gov.uk and remain in touch with your tutor wherever possible.
Skills for Life includes:
- family learning courses
- information technology
- basic skills courses
We can help learners identify their needs and access training.
Courses are available through the Adult and Community Service in English as a second language. National tests in English and maths at level 1 and 2 are also available. We can directed learners to classes on offer by other providers through Sheffield Futures.
