An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and manage a new housing first type service in Sheffield.
Housing First is an internationally evidence-based approach which uses stable housing as a platform to enable individuals with multiple and complex needs to begin recovery and move away from homelessness. The principles are that giving someone a stable home means they are in the best position to address any other challenges and needs they may have.
We are looking for a manager with a good understanding of homelessness and housing and an awareness of mental health, substance misuse and repeat offending issues, You need to be customer focused and able to lead a team working with this group of individuals in a strengths based way as well as good at working in partnership with others.
Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities, which benefit you and the Council.
