We are looking for an Enterprise Coordinator to join our existing team within the Enterprise Adviser Network at Sheffield City Council.

The Enterprise Adviser Network brings together educators and employers to work strategically on improving the aspirations, awareness and preparedness for employment for our future workforce. 

We are working with over 100 schools and colleges across South Yorkshire to help them improve their industry links and employment related curriculum by matching them with volunteers from businesses as their Enterprise Advisers.

As an Enterprise Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying high quality Enterprise Advisers and matching them with secondary schools (including special schools) and sixth form/further education settings.  Together, you will identify opportunities that employers can add value in school activities and curriculum with a view to raise labour market awareness and aspirations for the world of work.

The Enterprise Adviser Network is part of a national programme through the Careers and Enterprise Company (, tailored locally to meet the economic and education needs and interests of Sheffield City Region.

Sheffield City Region benefits from some very committed businesses from a range of sectors wanting to support this agenda who work alongside Careers Leaders who are developing whole school/college strategies to help better prepare our future workforce through education and business collaboration.
