Provider Services has a number of vacancies for flexible support staff on a casual basis to cover for leave, training, sickness etc.
As a Provider Service Worker you will need to be able to travel across the city to a variety of supported living properties. A car is not essential. You will need to be flexible in your working hours and participate in a rota that includes evenings,nights, weekends, sleep ins, standby duties and Bank Holidays.
You will need to enjoy supporting people in a variety of settings, assisting individuals to make the most of their support including supporting with personal care and moving and handling. Support in their home will include shopping and daily living tasks, support with cleaning, cooking and day to day financial mangement and social activities. As a provider service worker you will also contribute to and follow a support plan that has been designed around the individual.
You will be required to work on your own and as part of a team and be able to use your own initiative.
No experience is necessary as we offer extensive training and Learning Disability specific training.
We offer a excellent pension scheme and up to 25 days paid holiday per year (pro rata).
The successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check in line with Section 115 of The Police Act 1991
