This post is an excellent opportunity for a person to join a team of Homemakers working for the Furnished Accommodation team the sits within the Accommodation and Support Service. You will be predominantly working out of our warehouse base that is located in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield where the team are based. The Homemaker role is a wide varied one that encompasses a broad range of skill levels to efficiently deliver a range of furniture goods to numerous customers city wide. You will be required to be involved in all aspects of setting up homes for some of the most vulnerable customers Sheffield City Council have. We are also involved in delivering a range of goods for a Council run scheme that involves multi drop scheduled deliveries. The successful applicant will also be required to do some administrative work around stock control and work orders within the warehouse and or office environment. It is essential that the candidate holds a clean current full driving licence and is able to lift and carry. Protective equipment is provided as is training where applicable.
