The aim of the team is to provide early intervention to children with special educational needs and/ or disabilities (SEND) ensuring that children, young people, their families and carers are assessed and that plans are put in place to enable them to access appropriate services and maximize their own independence.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated individual who will seek to develop and deliver services for children with SEND and their families. Working closely with parents, education providers and other services across Education, Health and Care to ensure effective assessment and reviews are in place to meet a child and their family’s needs is an important part of this role.

You will have experience of direct work with children in a relevant early intervention setting undertaking assessments and developing and delivering packages of support to meet assessed unmet need. It would be an added bonus if you have experience of direct work with children with SEND and their families and have worked within the current legislative framework.
