Adult Health & Social Care are recruiting casual and permanent Support Workers
During the coronavirus pandemic it is more important than ever that we keep people safe and supported. To do this, we need your help at this critical time to support adults across the city.
We are seeking to recruit support workers with the right values and behaviours.
You will be providing personal care, practical support and be able to follow a care plan, to maximise independence and support people with their health and wellbeing.
Ideal candidates would also need good customer service skills, which include displaying sensitivity and tolerance with customers, be able to listen actively and have good overall communication skills – written and verbal. The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same.
As part of this city-wide service, we operate between 7am – 10pm, 7 days a week. This will include weekend working and may include split shifts in a day.
You will be paid at an enhanced rate for unsociable hours.
We will provide full training and support for applicants who have the right approach about making a difference to peoples lives.
We particularly welcome people with experience and qualifications in care. We will provide full training and support for those with the right approach to working with our customers.
