We met with Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Sheffield Health Watch in August 2015 to share evidence about preventing and responding to homelessness.
The key areas covered were:
- what kind of support is most effective in preventing homelessness
- what works best for homeless people with complex needs who fail to engage with services and live chaotic lifestyles
- what type of accommodation with support works best for homeless young people (16 and 17 year olds in particular) and stops them becoming trapped in a lifestyle of homelessness
Subsequently, the evidence presented has informed the future commissioning intentions of the Council and its Partners.
Copies of the presentations, posters and reports that were shared at the event are available from us on request.
