Following consultation between January and March 2017, Sheffield City Council Cabinet approved policy changes affecting all Post 16 travel and transport arrangements.
It was agreed that parents or carers should be asked to make a contribution towards the overall costs of providing Special Educational Needs Transport. As from September 2017, a contribution of £540 per year (£10.38 per week over the full year) is to be collected either, yearly, termly or monthly. Some families will be eligible for the 16-19 Bursary Fund to help with these costs, which can be applied for via the school, college or educational placement.

If you would like to pay annually the payment is due on the 1st October 2017.
If you would like to pay monthly then payment is due on the 1st of every month, starting the 1st October 2017 then throughout the academic year.
If you would like to make termly payments then payments are due on the 1st October 2017, 1st February 2018 and the 1st May 2018.
