Abbey Lane

Abbey Lane Cemetery, Abbey Lane, Sheffield, S8 0BQ, is next to Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium and covers 32 acres.  A cemetery chapel is available for services prior to the interment.

Beighton

Beighton Cemetery, School Road, Sheffield, S19 6EG is our smallest cemetery and serves the Beighton and Mosborough communities. New graves are available in the lawned section, but there are no more cremated remains plots.

Burncross

Burncross Cemetery, Burncross Road, Sheffield, S35 1RX
covers 7 acres in total. The chapel at the entrance to the cemetery has been converted into a columbarium.  There are niches for cremated remains and commemorative bronze plaques may be purchased and placed here.

Burngreave

Burngreave Cemetery, Scott Road, Sheffield, S4 7BE is one of our oldest cemeteries.  The first interment took place on 23 March 1861. The cemetery covers 37 acres and to date over 158,000 burials have taken place.  There are no new plots available but existing family graves can be reopened.

City Road

City Road Cemetery, City Road, Sheffield, S2 1GD, is our largest cemetery covering 100 acres. City Road Crematorium is situated within the grounds and the crematorium chapel is available for services prior to interments.

Crookes

Crookes Cemetery,  Headland Road, Sheffield, S10 5FY, covers 29 acres in total. Unfortunately the cemetery chapel is no longer available for funeral services prior to interment.

Darnall

Darnall Cemetery, Coventry Road, Sheffield, S9 0RR, dates back to 1859 and covers 5 acres of land. No new plots are available but existing family graves can be reopened.

Ecclesfield

Ecclesfield Cemetery, Priory Road, Sheffield, S35 9XY, covers 5 acres and was originally an extension of the Ecclesfield Churchyard.

Handsworth

Handsworth Cemetery, Orgreave Lane, Sheffield, S13 9NE, was originally owned by Handsworth Parish Council and opened in 1901. The cemetery covers 4 acres. New graves are available but there are no new cremated remains plots.

Intake

Intake Cemetery covers 12 acres.  The address is Mansfield Road, Sheffield, S12 2AJ.

Norton

Norton Cemetery Derbyshire Lane, Sheffield S8 9EH, was originally owned by Norton Parish Council and covers 6 acres.

There are no new plots available but existing family graves can be reopened.

Shiregreen

Shiregreen cemetery, Shiregreen Lane, Sheffield, S5 6AA is the second largest cemetery that we manage. The cemetery covers 33 acres. A cemetery chapel is available for services prior to the interment.

Stocksbridge 

Stocksbridge Cemetery, Bocking Hill, Sheffield, S36 2AL, was originally owned by Stocksbridge Parish Council.  It covers 18 acres and serves the communities of Stocksbridge, Deepcar and surrounding areas.

Tinsley Park

Tinsley Park Cemetery, Barleywood Road, Sheffield, S9 5FJ covers 19 acres.  At the entrance to the cemetery is a Gothic style chapel where services can be held prior to the burial.

A baby memorial donated by Sands and a memorial commemorating those who have left their remains to medical research are sited within this cemetery.

Wisewood

Wisewood Cemetery, Loxley Road, Sheffield, S6 4TD covers 44 acres. The cemetery overlooks the scenic Loxley Valley which creates the ideal setting for the natural Woodland Burial ground situated within this cemetery.

Cremated remains plots are only available within the traditional part of the cemetery.

Woodhouse

Woodhouse Cemetery, Stradbroke Road, Sheffield, S13 7GE was originally owned by Handsworth Parish Council and covers 7 acres.
