We can help you if you can’t manage to do essential things around your home, or you are struggling to do them safely, and there is no other way of getting them done.
Our team of occupational therapy assessors can talk to you about the equipment or adaptations to your home you may need and how we can help.
We give advice about better ways of doing things at home, getting equipment or adaptations that make your life easier, and moving house.
We also provide equipment, and can make adaptations to you home, like handrails, ramps or installing a stairlift. Adapting your home.
If you're assessed as eligible for our help, equipment and minor adaptations may be provided free of charge.
You may be able to get help with major adaptations through a Disabled Facilities Grant.
If we can’t help, or someone else can offer more suitable support, we will help you to get the right information.
