Farmers', Continental and Specialist Markets

Sheffield hosts specialist markets ranging from International and Farmers' Markets to Craft Markets.

Farmers' Markets

At the farmers' markets you can buy fresh produce from local farmers and producers including bakery products, home-made pickles, chutneys and jams and a range of fresh, local meat.

The Sheffield Farmers' Market usually takes place on the 4th Thursday of every month from 8:30 to 17:00 on The Moor.

The next Sheffield Farmers' Market will take place on The Moor on Thursday 24 April 2014.

Local Produce Market

A major part of the city centre Sheffield Food Festival is a 3 day Artisan Market.  The Festival in 2014 will take place over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend between Saturday 24 and Monday 26 May 2014.

Christmas Market

A market will be organised for the weeks leading up to Christmas.  You will be able to purchase a variety of goods and food stuffs.  The market will probably take place from mid November 2014 and Wednesday 24 December 2014, and will be sited on Fargate.

A number of craft markets are held in Sheffield, some forming part of events in parks and the city centre.  There are also local community markets, fairs and festivals.
