The Conference Room and Members' Library

Opposite the Council Chamber is the entrance to the Conference Room. This room serves the same function as a Committee Room. The Conference Room adjoins the Council Members' Library. This is the reference and reading room of Councillors. 

 

The distinguishing features of both rooms are the fireplaces, of marble and stainless steel (a relatively new invention when the rooms were built).
