Domestic & Sexual Abuse Multi-Agency Strategy
The Multi-Agency Strategy for tackling domestic & sexual abuse in Sheffield 2008 - 11 will build on the progress made by local agencies in implementing Sheffield Domestic Abuse Forum’s Multi-agency Strategy on Domestic Abuse 2004 - 07.
It will be developed with the Strategic Planning Group (SPG) for domestic abuse in Sheffield, in consultation with various Domestic Abuse Working Groups and taking account of government proposals and of the views of service users interviewed as part of a Sheffield research project.
It will provide a vision for the creation of an environment where domestic and sexual abuse are no longer tolerated, and barriers to change are removed, at a time when the issue is on the national and political agenda as never before.
